WRITING FOR SCIENCE REPORTS

How do I sign up?

​

  1. Pick an article topic (a recent scientific breakthrough, a concept you've always wanted to explore more, etc.) from these five sections: 

    1. Science Features

    2. Environmental Sciences

    3. Biology and Medicine

    4. Physical Sciences

    5. Mathematics and Technology

  2. Look out for an all school email from Science Reports, and sign up through the google form.

  3. Have fun writing!

Writing Process

1. Research about your topic and draft your article. Share your google doc with your section editors, as well as chwu25@lawrenceville.org and mcooper26@lawrenceville.org. 

2. Section editors will offer feedback and make edits.

3. Look over the feedback and make changes if appropriate.

4. Christine and Mila will make final edits.

5. Science Reports will publish your article!

A detailed timeline will be sent out to writers every term.

  1. Professional/semi-professional scientific writing

  2. Minimum 2 pages double spaced

  3. Size 11 Times New Roman Font 

  4. APA citations
